Noida DM to anti-Romeo squads: Don’t harass consenting couples

he Gautam Budh Nagar district magistrate on Saturday asked police and administrative officials to strictly enforce women safety, curb illegal trafficking of animals and maintain cleanliness in public offices in the district.

The district magistrate also said that police personnel must keep in mind not to harass consenting couples, which will be considered as abuse of law and swift action will be taken against the official concerned. He sent a message across to the recently formed ‘anti-Romeo squads’ to strictly follow the law.

The district magistrate, NP Singh, in a detailed meeting with the police and administrative officials held at camp office in Noida, also directed them to implement fresh mandates issued by the newly elected government.View more:-Bulk Sms Service provider

“The law and order in the district must be maintained as per the wishes of the new government,” Singh said. He further directed the officials to take strict action to ensure women safety, curb illegal trafficking of animals in the district. And at the same time, he warned officials of swift action against them if anyone is found to be exploiting or abusing the law.

Congestion free Noida: DM orders to act against illegal parking, rule violators

To streamline the vehicular movement in Noida-Greater Noida, the district magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar has given directions to police and traffic police to act swiftly against the illegal parking and heavy vehicles plying in the city without permit and not following other traffic norms.

The directions were given by the district magistrate NP Singh on Saturday during a meeting with senior officers of police, traffic police, Noida authority and transport department. Singh was joined by newly-elected legislator from Noida assembly segment Pankaj Singh.

NP Singh directed the officers that traffic related problems should be resolved within a month so that people can heave a sigh of relief. He directed Noida authority to serve notices to those offices, which have shown parking places in their maps and still park vehicles on road.View more:-Bulk Sms Service provider

Across Noida and Greater Noida, no vehicle should be allowed to park along the road, said Singh, adding that the Noida authority should look for an alternate place where trucks can be parked. He said that drivers park their trucks at various places as no specific place for them and matter be intervened within 15 days.
